POSITION 1
JOB TITLE : Construction Painter Helper
Location of Work : Unit 201, 15300 68 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3S 2B9 and various sites in Lower Mainland.
No. of vacancies: 30
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Type: Full time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 40 hours per week.
Wage : $24 per hour, to be negotiated depending on experience.
BENEFITS: Dental benefit, Extend health care benefit.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education: No formal education is required.
Experience: On-the-job training will be provided. Previous experience in construction, general labour, or painting is an asset.
Language: No language requirement.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
● Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
● Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team under the supervision of painters and site managers.
● Willingness to work in different environments (indoor, outdoor, at heights, and in varying weather conditions).
● Strong attention to detail and safety awareness when handling tools, equipment, and materials.
JOB DUTIES
● Clean up work areas before and after jobs.
● Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection.
● Scrape, sandpaper, prime or seal surfaces prior to painting.
● Hand over tools as needed to painters.
● Use sanding and buffing tools to smooth surfaces.
● Fill cracks, holes and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives.
● Help painters to mix paints, using right proportion and color.
● May apply paint to surfaces including canvas, walls, floors, doors and cabinets under painter supervision.
Working conditions : Candidates should be willing to work outdoors, indoors and all weather conditions.

JOB TITLE : Full-Time Office Administrator

Term of employment : Permanent position

Salary : $30-$37 per hour
Working Hours : 30-40 hours per week

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education : A university degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is required ; equivalent experience is acceptable.
Experience
● Minimum 3 years of experience in office administration or related roles.
● Experience working in the construction, trades or project – based service industries is an asset.
Language : Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required for clear communication with management, field staff, and external partners.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
● Strong organisational and communication skills.
● Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
● Knowledge of construction/trades industry is an asset.
● Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Technology & Software Knowledge ( Preferred) :
● Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
● Cloud storage and collaboration tools (e.g. Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive)
JOB DUTIES
● Implement and improve administrative procedures to support daily operations of the painting and constructing projects.
● Review and evaluate office procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
● Delegate and supervise work assignments to office support staff.
● Establish work priorities and monitor progress to ensure project timelines and deadlines are met.
● Carry out administrative activities such as maintaining employee records, project files, and compliance documentation.
● Coordinate office services including supplies, equipment, parking, maintenance and health & safety requirements.
● Assist in preparing company’s operating budget and maintain accurate records of expenses, materials and inventory.
●Collect and compile project data, preparing regular and special reports for management.
● Perform data entry and maintain digital and physical filing systems.
● Train and support office staff on administrative processes and company systems.
● Oversee and coordinate office administrative functions to support construction crews and project managers.
● Monitor and evaluate administrative workflows recommending improvements.
● Plan and control budgets and expenditures related to office operations and project administration.
Work Setting : Full-time office-based position (Monday to Friday)
